Just looking for some advice of cleaning and rejuvenating a 90's BMW interior please.

Ideally I want to put some colour back into the black leather sports seats. Especially on the bolsters where they always seem to wear the most. What I really want is to be left with a satin black finish and not the shiny look it has now.

The dash etc is in great condition but appears to have 20+ years of furniture polish covering it. Is there a product I can use to remove it and what sort of tools should I use? I was thinking a nail brush or possibly a stiff paint brush?

The headlining is sagging a little at the rear and on the sunroof panel but I'm thinking of have a professional tackle this. I'm also thinking of going with black instead of the current grey?

I'm going to fit a period Blaupunkt once I find one that looks right and that I can possibly retro fit with a bluetooth facility.

Anyway, some advice on the best products and methods to employ would be much appreciated.

Check out M359 restorations on YouTube.

Brilliant channel, particularly the episodes featuring his E46 interior refresh. Although the one where he replaces the headlining in his 750 with alcantara is pretty cool too! In fact they're all good!

Colorlock is the product he normally uses on leather.

I can second M539 on YouTube.

For the leather it's basically treated the same as bodywork, rub down, fill, paint.

For the dash, I would start with plain old warm soapy water in a hand spray bottle, a paint brush and plenty of micro fibre cloths. That should tackle most things. After that I will defer to the experts for more in depth cleaning.
