6 year old killed by parents
Discussion
Another child killed by nut job parents.
This type of cruelty seems to be in the news every other week. We had that little boy in the river in Wales, the young mum who went clubbing for a week leaving her baby.

Three killers in one family. How is it possible for people to be this messed up?
Also I can’t imagine why the witness who provided evidence of what poor condition Arthur was in didn’t do something about it. Easier said than done perhaps but how could anyone let this treatment continue? It’s truly horrific what goes on.

This type of cruelty doesn’t go unpunished when inside. They’ll both get a well deserved good hiding (possibly more) once the news circulates as to why they’re inside.
The mind boggles at how someone can be so cruel. I know both of them are likely very low on the IQ score card, however, being intentionally nasty to this level takes a certain type of personality type.
Poor lad. Having a son myself it boils my blood.

And we get to pay their food and lodgings for quite some time to come.
Worry not, the female will spend a laughable time in stir, [prison is for re-education not punishment], be released, get a nice new flat and myriad benefits, shack up with some drug addled loser and
squeeze another sprog out of her fertile loins and continue to display her appalling mothering skills.

Sadly this. What chance did the poor soul have? these people should be locked up forever, you can’t rehabilitate someone as evil as this.be released, get a nice new flat and myriad benefits, shack up with some drug addled loser and
squeeze another sprog out of her fertile loins and continue to display her appalling mothering skills.
The chap looked 'ok'. As in he looked an ok sort of bloke. What happens behind closed doors etc. I wonder if he had some mental issues or bi polar or something else. From what I can gather from that article it seems to be more the woman that is twisted but I guess it will all come out in the trial.

Unbelievable
How could this have slipped through the professionals' net?
Sickening. Even more so that this isn't an isolated case, it'll be happening elsewhere too. How could this have slipped through the professionals' net?
.How many more times can the clear signs of abuse be ignored by the authorities? Is it that there are no checks on turning up for school? Or turning up malnourished? It was reported the boy complained (to someone) about food and water being withheld. Are there so many more worse cases that this wasn't a priority?
Truly awful.
Regarding lengthy imprisonment & shooting them, etc: are we not bothering with fair trial, due process, all that sort of thing? I thought we were better than that.
As for the neglect & apparent inaction of social services I'm sure lessons will be learned.

t. Social workers are handling hundreds of files, can’t keep on top of it and are doing the best they can. The average length of service of a social worker is something like 5 years before they give up and do something else. Generally better paid and less stressful. Children are dead because of this but all that will happen is someone else will be strung out to dry, budgets will be cut again and politicians will move on until it happens again.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
