You mean they specificly choose the OG version and not the S?
Or wasn't it specific on this issue?

Anyway to post a readable pic of the words they say?

Thanx.

I can't think of a good reason it was that low.
What were the 1 to 7?

What were the 1 to 7?
1) Ferrari 458 Speciale
2) BMW E30 M3
3) Porsche 911 GT3RS (997.2, 3.8)
4) Lotus Elise S1
5) Alfaholics GTA-R
6) Ferrari 288 GTO
7) Renault Sport Megane R26.R
8) Aston Martin V12 Vantage
9) McLaren 600LT
10) Honda Civic Type R (FK8)

Good article - past & present Evo people (Harry Metcalfe being the most notable former). "What's the best car you've ever driven?" Only rule (I think) was that you couldn't have multiple picks from the same marque it does seem to be road/production models only. A wider range of answers than expected, from a McLaren F1, a Double Decker London bus, a Buick Riviera to an Ariel Nomad.

As an owner of a couple of V12V’s and a 600LT, I can confirm I’d place the Aston above the Mclaren.

I had a V12VS and switched to a 570s and dynamics wise the Mclaren is quite a step on...and the 600LT is a step on again from the 570S...would be interesting to hear you flesh out your thoughts. Having said that I loved the Vantage...so much character.

It was specifically the original non S V12 having just read the article. Nice to see AM on the list 👍

600LT is a fantastic car, but I’ve really not had a good experience with the dealer or Mclaren, will never buy from them again. I’ve enjoyed 11,000 of driving, but tbh I get more fun driving a manual more “slowly”. I think I’ve reach peak “newest and fastest”. The dynamic limitation is me, so I don’t need any faster smile

I understand and tbh as much as I'd love a 600LT I'm not sure I can justify the cost to change especially when a 2015 Vanquish is significantly cheaper and looks and sounds fantastic...sorry to hear you've had issues with the car and dealers, my 570s has had quite a few problems but the dealer was great at sorting them out...and thank christ for the warranty!

That's quite a result to even get on the list. It's in some great company.
