We saw two of the characters being held and tortured by the Syrians but in the post event comments no mention was made of their fate.
More 4 seems to advertise programs and mysteriously they are not shown. If you remember this happened with the screening off-the-peg first Episode of Valley of Tears.
A good series though , shows just how close the State of Israel came to being wiped out by their neighbours.

I was also mystified and annoyed this final episode was not screened. They gave a message saying "it wasn't possible to show episode 10 as scheduled, but hope to show later".
I then saw it on All4 catch up, but it was reduced to just 35 mins (including ads) which seemed odd.
I hope it was not some Ch4 anti-semitic sillyness, as modern-day Jewish men were depicted at the end...or did it involve torture scenes that were cut?
The whole thing is strange. Spoiled the end of the series for the family.
