Painting plenum and rocker covers
Discussion
On my silver Chimaera back in 2014 I paid to have them done at Central because I had the exhaust manifold gaskets replaced at the same time. The black stripes on the plenum were done by hand by me. I was advised there, and I agreed, that doing the plenum as well is a bit OTT. Very nice, but pricey:

On my last Chimaera, I had a go myself. I could do it in slow time with the car off the road whilst I had the injectors cleaned, using aerosol spray VHT paint. I got a bit of a matt finish, and it dried a lighter shade of blue than I expected, more turquoise really, so whilst not as glossy as powder coat, it was great for under a tenner.

You'll need understanding if you bake them in the oven like I did. Even after degreasing, a bit whiffy......

Thanks “Hedgehopper” it does indeed appear to be the wrong routing!.
Doesn’t however give any apparent problems.
A new job to keep me happy for a few minutes :-)
I have had the car for 18 years and as far as I know this has not been touched. Could be when I had the water pump gasket replaced.
Thanks.
