Lost track of how many times I've bought 3, VC, SA, 4 and 5 over the years, wasted way too much time playing GTA games. 
I'd probably be a bit more excited if it was a proper remake on the RAGE engine, but it's probably just going to be similar to the remasters they did on the original Xbox.
Depends on price, if it's £60+, I'm out.

I can't help but think that this is a huge red flag for GTA 6 being way way beyond the horizon.Get on with GTA 6.

I love all the games in the upcoming remaster, and have sunk god knows how many hours into them in my yoof. Do I want to pay to replay them with reskinned textures and slightly better physics? Not a chance.
I've got a horrible feeling this is going to turn out to be the fabled "Project America's" they've been rumoured to be working on for the past few years, if it is - it make me think there's internal difficulties that are going to go against the likelihood of GTA 6 releasing on this generation.

I feel the same. How they have managed to stretch GTA 5 out over 3 generations of console is beyond me. I know they keep throwing novelties at online but it doesn't interest me at all, if some of those made it over to single player like some of the cars at least then I wouldn't mind so much. But the actual game itself has been left to get stale and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that prefers to play a game with a proper story than just running around getting killed by 12 year olds. Get on with GTA 6.

That said, if they can make a half decent version of San Andreas in the meantime that would cheer me up a bit!

Online is carnage and just not worth it. IMHO. But, it pays the bills right.
