The girl at work

Probably a typical thread on here, but I’m being driven completely nuts.
There’s a lass at work, I’ve worked with her quite often recently and it’s so damn hard to play it cool. She is the nicest, prettiest, funny, most brilliant person I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Thing is, if I met her elsewhere I wouldn’t have a problem at all asking her out for a drink, but I don’t have the slightest clue how to go about this.

What are her "interests" and how does she pursue them? Easiest route is to take an interest in similar stuff yourself which opens the route to conversation and may lead to an opportunity to mention possibly doing something together.

Don't poo on your doorstep mate is all I will say, it might be great initially, but if it doesn't work out, imagine it! Done it once a long time ago at a very low level, was a nightmare when it went wrong, ruined work social do's etc, all my fault I might add, but even so was not great.

That rather depends if you’re one of those people that will only work in the same company forever. I’ve done this twice and it’s worked fine both times, but mostly as one of us has moved companies. Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
