Hi all,

I've been out of the Cerbera world for a few years now, so forgive me...

Are Recaro Starts with the narrow base and additional impact cushion still the baby seat of choice?

(Going through the attic and I found our one, literally used by my kids a handful of times, used to scream their heads off in the car, sadly)

Cheers!

Yep, although you can't get them any more.

I've just got a new joie seat for my daily and I think it will fit, although got to try it.

Timely, a friend just sold his Cerbera and we met them at Biscester Scramble. He has a brand new son, so pointed him at these child seats and told him to post on here... biggrin

Morning! I’m the chap Byker28i mentioned 😃 absolutely loving the new Cerb

Managed to get out for an hour early yesterday morning, I’m just so in love with it! Need to find myself one of the seats mentioned here though for the little man.

Whatever seat you choose think carefully about the top seatbelt lug in the rear. Perfectly positioned to injure small children in an accident.

To fit a seat properly in the car due to the rear seats angle you need the fitting kit. Which bolts into the car.

These are also no longer available, however I can make them and have made a few for people now. And can be made for either side. Mine top, TVR bottom

Hey, this is really interesting, I’m struggling to visualise, would you have any pics installed for a better idea of what it is and why it’s needed? Cheers, Josh

I have heard of some people using the Jane montecarlo r1 or the britax evolva 123. I myself am in the same boat.

The original TVR seats do come up for sale. I managed to get one last year in the right colour leather and bought the fitting kit of Peter E??

I have two matching Recaro Start seats & 1 impact cushion (lets young kids use them).
Our kids loved the seats & we used them in all the cars but they have been sat in the roof space for a couple of years now doing nothing. I’ve never quite got round to listing them anywhere….

Kids are 9 & 11 now, will be too big for the normal back seats soon!
