Products/Advice for sorting repeated windscreen hazing
Discussion
Morning all
I seem to be plagued by hazing/filmy grime on the inside my Focus ST heated windscreen.
I often clean it with AG Car Glass Polish, in & out, but literally within just a couple of days it is apparent again.
I haven’t previously had this happen as past cars have not had this issue and the AG treatment normally lasted for a few weeks minimum.
I’m unsure if this is anything related to it being a heated screen either?
This is a pet hate of mine, so any advice on better products or methods to clean it all off and possibly prevent it returning for longer is very much appreciated!

Cabin pollen filter change would be my first port of call, do you run climate control on the Auto setting? if so this has a tendency to direct air at the windscreen a lot of the time.
Vaping as mentioned above will also give you haze as described.
AG glass polish is an effective cleaner for the inside glass so I doubt it is product related. To rule this out try some vinegar on a microfibre cloth + another microfibre to remove.
Cheers,
Chris

Cheers all for the replies.
No, non vaper/smoker so thats not a consideration now.
I’ll do a Pollen filter change though, haven’t long had the car and it’s typically an easy & cheap job so worth doing!
I’ll get some fresh microfibres as mine are older and have been cleaned.
Might also give the Auto Climate a change and try it in manual for a bit, fog on the screen can be handled by the heated elements if it becomes an issue atall!
