Views on BMW roadside assistance

Hi all,
My approved used warranty is due to expire shortly and I'm looking to buy the extended warranty from BMW. There's an option to add on BMW roadside assistance, at around £80 for the year.
I'd be keen to hear of anyone's experience of using the breakdown service and who the provider is - it seems reasonable value compared to the usual providers.
Cheers

I have recovery options with another provider which covers me for 3 cars. I do have the insured warrant without recovery but when dealer repaired my car ( coolant leak) after oil filter housing gasket had been replaced they were excellent.
Reported fault to Sytners and left a msg for customer service person(having checked with receptionist if he was in) - no return call that day(Saturday).
Very frustrating so rang BMW roadside assistance and explained circumstances. As a good will gesture(they offered this almost immediately) they arranged for recovery to attend my home. Arrived promptly identified where leak was from and advised not to drive the car. They arranged for car to be collected Monday morning which was done on time. Couldn't fault the service in anyway. Dealer customer service could learn lessons from them.

Used to be provided by Mondial when I worked in the role. Back then it was staffed by a mixture of dealer technicians and those who worked for Mondial. We gave a very high level of service including fixing the car at the roadside or taking it to a dealer. I would sometimes collect parts from a local dealer if needed. We would gain entry to cars without keys too. You could have a hire car delivered to your home address to. I’m fairly sure overnight accommodation was provided. The highest level of service I heard of was when an 8 series needed a new rad in Cannes. My boss flew over with tools and a rad and fitted it.
Would definitely recommend. Had to call them out a couple of weeks back and the chap arrived in about 45 mins, was clearly a significant level above the average general mechanic that I was expecting having not had to use the emergency service in the previous 8 years of warranty covering 5 different BMWs, knew my model intimately and stayed on way after fixing the problem to chat about the car.
