LC500: What other GTs should I look at?

Utterly lovely cars, if I win the Euromillions tonight, I'll be down at Manchester Lexus tomorrow with an order for an LC500 in Sonic Red with ochre semi-aniline leather.
Similar stuff would be
Audi RS5
BMW 840i or 850i at a stretch
Jaguar F-type R
Mercedes E53 AMG or S560 at a stretch
None of those anywhere near as nice as the Lexus though

I'm with you Brett!, late spring/early summer I'm going shopping....
Lexus LC500 holding a narrow lead over:
Aston V8 vantage (personally it's in the mix)
Cayman GT4 (another personal choice that's not comparable in any way, but I like them)
others :
Jag F-type, XKR and XKR-S
BMW 8 series or late 6
Mercedes S class coupe
Bentley GT
911 or maybe Panamera
Corvette (another personal addition)
Maserati GT
AMG GT ?

The thoughts above echo mine TBH... even with the Cayman GT4 as an alternate!
I think if Maserati were still making the GT I would take a look...but in the back of my head I think it would be a bit of pig as it ages.. the Lexus I hope would stay pretty much bomb proof until the lights go out!

your car history shows some big units and plenty of Lexii...
I've got an S2000 which I'll be keeping so I DON'T want a screaming, nimble, drop top...I need the opposite...heft, muscle, tech....but I still need drama, great design and reliability....the 500 ticks these boxes like very few others....
plus I have an unhealthy need to not get what everyone else might choose, despite it being clearly "the best" the 911 is too obvious...all the German stuff is ubiquitous and the British (sadly) a risk on the pocket maintenance wise.... although with months to go before I can buy, my mind will flip-flop I'm sure... if I look at Autotrader adverts for too long, I get bored without even owning the thing?!
So rare, yet getting almost universal praise too....that doesn't happen very often

Go for the LC500 it's the Japanese equivalent of the Maserati GranTurismo with just as much character & lower running costs, the V8 is just as special.
They also do the Maserati trick of feeling special at low speed, people complain about the infotainment but you get used to it pretty quickly, the only thing I'd want is a bit more exhaust note which can be sorted quite easily.

Was looking at one myself a few months ago, it came up in my searches as a viable 2+2 as I needed something to squeeze two under 8's in to.
My search started with the 911 4S and ended with the LC500. Prices started to go north and I decided to put it on the back burner until they settle, but at the time of looking £65/70k got you a 2014/2016 911 or a 2018/2019 Sport+ LC500.

I currently run a 5.0 XKR which is a lovely car (proved to be more comfortable than I expected, which was a plus), it gets looked after by a good Jag/LR specialist & doesn't give me any trouble, so I'm in no rush to change it, but that doesn't stop me from thinking about what I would get next...
BMW 650i seems good value, but how special does it feel?
AM Vantage V8...not sure how different this would be to the XK?
Maserati...lovely cars, not sure I'd be brave enough!
Lexus...a bit leftfield, but that's part of the appeal

I think you may have nailed it on your first try.
The only thing I would consider is a 456 Ferrari.
I'm not sure anything comes close to either of these when it comes to class. Different, but both the epitome of class.
