Firewall up/down times in PRTG. Any likely culprits that immediately spring to mind? I'm thinking something on the WAN side dropping with it being so regular. As far as I know this isn't the device rebooting, but that has yet to be confirmed. This happens for a while, stabilises for say 10 hours then resumes this up and down behaviour again.

Which side(s) of the firewall are you monitoring (pinging?) with PRTG?
If it's the WAN side and a copper based xDSL connection, is the connection dropping? If there's a xDSL re-sync and then the firewall needs to establish a PPPoE session again, 4 to 5 minutes downtime wouldn't be unusual to me.
If you're just monitoring the WAN side, could you install a PRTG remote probe inside the network and then monitor the private side to see if the uptime on the firewall changes. I'd expect a decent firewall to let you monitor uptime via SNMP as well.
