WTF are they playing at, 5 laps between advert breaks? Nothing short of disgraceful!

It's made me switch it off completely and put some music on instead.

You're not missing anything.... first lap brilliant, everything since has been DULL, DULL, DULL .... now got Mike Gascoigne on talking about "leap froging" people at the pitstops

Back to Motors TV for some real racing.

Brilliant 125cc race on GP at Donnington in the wet.

Forget F1 - it's dead.

actually, I've left it on and it's got "better" in that the breaks are further apart but that must have been the greatest line by cock:

"and he's suffered an Engine Failure pause or a transmission failure or something went wrong".

switched back to see how Button was getting on just in time to see him out-break and pass Schumi at the hairpin ..... boring again now tho .... and yet more ads .... going out for a drive!

And they MISSED the actual overtake.

No wonder we're all getting fed up with this circus.

to be fair, its not ITV's fault. its the german tv company covering the race, and ITV just uses the feed.

i really feel sorry for kimi. this season was his. i just hope Ilmore build a reliable engine in future.

I wasn't aiming my copmments at ITV in particular. Just the overall "show". It really is a poor apology for motorsport.

Did Jenson Button actually win the race? You would have thought so from the way that Rosenthal and co. were going on after the race

Why do ITV feel they have to promote F1 as the Jenson Button show? There are other, better drivers out there doing a better job, except they're not English...

It's called Jingoism, or in Rosenthal's case, Jimboism.

You'll also find that Martin Brundle is Jensen's manager and times are tough at the moment.

You'll find that the contract between Jensen and Williams is iron clad and that JB will be forced to drive for an under-performing team which will be in dire trouble next year (no engine, no manufacturer for the engine...). The likely case is that Brundle and co are trying to rally the public support to try and force Frank Williams hand to bow to pressure.

Isn't it David Coulthard that's managed by Brundle? Brundle doesn't bother me, it's Jim Rosenthal, Louise Goodman and the way it's presented as the Jenson Button show. Regardless of who won the race, they always seem more keen to talk about how JB has just got on...

I just think that the ITV team overestimate how much people watch F1 for the nationality of the drivers, a driver who is exciting to watch is exciting whichever country he is from.

Martin Brundle does not manage Jenson, he actually manages Coulthard!.
