Petrol crisis. Empty shelves on shops. Brexit still not settled. Pushing green virtue signalling while the Rome burns. How on earth are the Tories still 10 pts ahead?
Is it just that nobody thinks the alternatives are any better.
Of course the same question could be asked up here in SCotland. For 14 years the SNP have messed up everthing they have touched without seeing any consequences at the polls.

I suspect that because these “crises” hardly touch anyone because they are overstated in the main, and if they do impact you, do you have any thought that Kier might do a better job? (A bloke who can’t reverse a non-articulated lorry without hitting something)
Petrol “crisis” - not really the governments fault and largely driven by idiots panicking
Food “crisis” - have seen zero evidence of this
Brexit delivery - Keir would be no better
Green b
ks - Kier would probably be worse.

On most issues where the Conservatives should be criticised Labour are usually worse. Polls IMO merely reflecting the fact there is no sensible alternative. Is it just that nobody thinks the alternatives are any better.

If we had PR, and a proper conservative party as an alternative, all bets would be off.

The thing is, whilst I think a Troop of monkeys could replace our cabinet and do a better job, that is still better than the alternative party. Unless and until there is a credible alternative they will remain in power, corrupt as hell and taking the p**s out of us all whilst ruining as much as they can to line their pockets.....

Total lack of better alternatives. I'll rabidly vote Tory until someone betters along and then I'll stop.
It's truly ridiculous tho, voting is basically about keeping morons out of power by electing ever so slightly less moronic people.
This is the unfortunate reality for many of us.It's truly ridiculous tho, voting is basically about keeping morons out of power by electing ever so slightly less moronic people.
Still plenty on PHs defend Boris and think he’s doing a good job so he must actually have supporters rather than just being the least worst option.
