Hello, I don't suppose anyone has any of the early upright replacements lying about or know anywhere that has them?

I have a pair of the really early (pre-recall) hubs. I think you'll need to get post-recall hubs from a breakers. I swapped mine when upgrading to cp6600 calipers and 330mm discs. Depending on whether you have early or late upper wishbones you have fitted you need different uprights unless you can find a pair of C0928 and C0929 hubs which take all disc sizes with some caliper spacers and have 2 positions for the top ball joint to accommodate both upper wishbone types. Racing Green have 1 side in stock but you'll need yo get the other from a breakers.

I believe i have the early upper wishbones, it's a May 97 build.

The fallback is to switch to later ones with the bigger brakes but that of course means new upper wishbones, brakes etc.

Would your ones work with the early wishbones and 291 mm brake?

Yes I saw that racing green have one side, rather annoyingly!!

https://partsfortvrs.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tv... is the early wishbone

https://partsfortvrs.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tv... is the later type

Have you hot a photo of your current uprights? The spares I have work with cp5200 calipers of either the 4 or 6 bolt variety and 291mm discs. Bigger discs just need the caliper spacers you can get from RG and probably several other places too.

The part numbers I gave earlier can work with early calipers too I think I'm sure RG sell an adapter plate.

Is that a solid disc?

It doesn't look vented

There should be an aluminium plate on the back of the upright that keeps the inside protected from the elements - at least there is on mine
