I've been using siteground for a good few years after a recommendation on PH. It's been brilliant. But a few months ago they got rid of Cpanel and the new system doesn't allow me to download a backup. Which to me is completely unacceptable!

It's such a shame they have messed with it!

Looking for an alternative for cheap small low traffic hosting?

I moved from siteground to hostinguk as SG hiked their prices for hosting by about 300% and then couldn't understand why I found it unacceptable.
Then it turned out I wasn't paying for the product I actually needed anyway. So bye SG it's not been fun.
Hostinguk ok so far.

I really dispointed at siteground, they were brilliant for years and seem to have lost the plot.

Do you have cpanel with Hostinguk?
