Audi R8 V10, essentials?
Discussion
First of all thanks to everyone for help on the "lower end of the Mclaren market" discussion I started, I don't have the funds to buy direct from the manufacturer and the garages I messaged about an inspection either refused or didn't reply.
I have switched my attention to early R8 V10's and would appreciate opinions on these 2 cars:

The white car has the 2 year Audi warranty which would be a great selling point as I only want to keep it a year, The Sepang Blue is the better looking car but only has 12 months third party warranty, I appreciate they are sports cars and not super cars but would welcome any input.
Thanks
Andy

The V10 is simply awesome, but the R-tronic transmission is not. I would spend a little more and find an S-tronic Spyder, it will make your ownership and driving experience that much better
honestly!
Gearbox choice really is down to the driver - some love the R-tronic, others don't. Try them all and make your own choice!

That’s a fair point Reece, but if we are honest it’s more a case of getting used to and driving around the R-tronics shortcomings. I’m not anti automated single clutch manuals, I loved my V8 Vantage S Sportshift, but unfortunately hated the R8’s R-tronic. Despite the might of Audi this was not a transmission to be celebrated, but their current dual clutch system is simply amazing and probably the best out there.Having said this I appreciate if you always drive it like a manual and lift a tad on upshifts you get used to it and that wonderful V10 is so fabulous with the roof down, nothing else matters
