Lifted Mustang?!

Greetings from South Africa - where there are potholes galore and that's just where there's a road...

So I have a 2017 S550 GT and just want to give it a little lift - one or two inches for clearance and to be able to put on some decent crossover tyres to soak up the potholes and be a little more sturdy against nails etc. unlike the existing P Zeros.

But I'm told it can't be done due to shock/spring sizes etc.

Anyone have any idea how to do this safely?

Ask some good off road shop there, or air suspension transplant maybe?

Or maybe just install the smallest wheel size ( 17" ? ) and the biggest tire combo that will clear the brakes and not touch the car when driving/steering, without updating the suspension?
