Toyota GR86 info

Hi everyone.
The new GR86 has piqued my interest to trade up out of my i30N as my first RWD car.
Trouble is, it was announced ages ago, America has apparently had loads of information come out for it but there's nothing concrete I can find for the UK market.
Does anyone have any information at all? Prices, rough release date (other than Early 2022),
I've phoned multiple local Toyota dealers expressing an interest but either get "the what? We don't sell that" or I'm promised a call back and hear nothing.

I don’t think there is a lot of info yet other than it’s coming next year. I think they look great too.
You’ve got to love how dealers plead ignorance about upcoming stuff. I have been and asked about new cars in the past only to get the same response. I guess it makes sense as they really want to sell current models but it’s ridiculous to think that any Toyota dealer has never heard of the GR86!

It really does seem to address all the issues with the GT86. Torque hole gone, modern infotainment with CarPlay, much better looks. Honestly think the dealers just can’t be arsed with cars that aren’t out yet. If they can’t sell it and make a commission right now, why put the effort in. Sadly, main dealers are becoming more and more like this.
