Smilies gone!!

Hi all, being a computer numpty, I am at a loss to know why, when posting I can't see my smilies. They don't even appear in the preview!

Any ideas?

I've noticed sometimes if you use the search facility to view past thread the smilies don't always work. There is a link for them, but not the little dudes themselves.

If you are running the McAfee Privacy Service it blocks the smileys for some reason.

Damn thing was too intrusive so I uninstalled it.

Probably due to a change of URL adress for the page, on the site the smilies were hot-linked from.

Chelsea T, are you using the Mozilla Firefox browser by any chance? I've had a difficult time posting pics and smilies with it. I know it will work, I just need to spend more time with it.
