Looks like the illegitimate offspring of a Ford Puma and a Seat Leon.

I was looking forward to this but ultimately, I think it's too fussy. The full width rear lights are too Japanese and there isn't enough window area for passengers in the rear to see out of. It's all very well having this pseudo-coupe appearance as long as you can live with the compromises imposed by a coupe.

I don't like the instruments either although that photo is obviously a mock-up. All this techno-babble is all very well but I rather like analogue dials myself.

So thanks but not for me. Like anything, in isolation, it has a wow factor but chuck ten in a car park and suddenly you find yourself preferring the cleaner lines of the Altea for example. Still, it's different.

It certainly stands out from the crowd. A bold move from Honda.

It looks ok in the flesh (have not got close enough to look at the interior).

I assume it is close to Eur production now, as there are several trundling around Millbrook on a daily basis.

Yes...those wrapping lights, just not fond on those at all. It's what really put me off the NSX, it looked like, well, awful. If they took out the read middle section it would look very smart indeed.

Nice interior though, please Honda, give up with those awful lights though!

Loving the new Civic, including those wacky lights.

I've got an 2003 "cooking" Civic, and I'll definitely be interested in the new model when it comes out next year. The new 1.8 petrol engine is this model is supposed to be a stormer.

That's ugly. I don't hate it quite as much as the new Focus, but it's still horrible.

I can't believe they are actually going to make something as sharp looking as this.

They'll have have to be careful not to alienate there traditional customer base in Bournmouth.

I don't like that little line on the rear window.

Is it a spoiler?

The styling is reminded me of a 206 when I first saw it, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I have to admit I'm not keen on that rear spoiler/half rear window thing either.
