Thanks , just worry if they will have additional penalty charge on top of the service . As long as the worst case is just pay the service charge will is acceptable .IF they do decide to charge you for it, then you are no worse off anyway.

It should be fine as long as you haven't gone over the service date. At which point, most of the collection agents will not even collect a car with a service light on, and you'll get charged for the aborted collection/recollection.
Does this means I might got charge extra fee for not service in time on top of my service fees ?Check with your lease co; I've only had Mercedes but through a variety of funders, including MBFS. You're allowed 1000 miles or 30 days past the "zero date" (ie when it says you need the service) with all of them. Every single one has gone back with the service indicator showing. Perfectly OK.
Top tip for those starting or in a lease - when your first service is due run it as late past the service date as you possibly can on the first service; this means that the next service will be one year (if a MB on 365 day intervals) later, and will actually be beyond the end of your lease. Gives you some buffer if you're the worrying type.
I suspect that there are a lot of mugs out there getting the very expensive second service done just before they hand the car back, just because they haven't understood the contract or are scared of "getting done".

You will be absolutely fine - just because it's telling you it needs on in X days time is irrelevant - what would you do if it was telling you it was due in six months time?You aren't going to service it a month before it is meant to be done, are you? Stop worrying.

If it only gives you the 30 day warning 18 days before return, then the service isn't due in your lease period. That's my understanding of what you said there?Dog Star said:

On 18th December the car will give you advance notice that it is approaching being due a service (usually 1 month or 1500 miles before the service becomes due)....it is to give drivers time to book a service etc
You will hand the car back at beginning of January and the car will still be giving advance warning that a service is becoming due
