I really like you style. I'm not sure what it is but when I go to a car show I tend to end up with a picture of a car which is lost amongst the others, people etc. Your images seem to be focussed and not suffer from that.

How do you do it?

Excellent set of pics! I was there this weekend too! I took quite a few pictures, but mine have nowhere near the artistic value of some of yours! I really like the shot of the finish line gantry! Great stuff!

By the looks of it a short-medium telephoto lens used at a wide aperture, and some carefully chosen angles that involve a lot of wriggling around on the ground !

Canon 300d with Sigma 28-300mm zoom, some shots taken with a polarising filter, some with a UV filter, some with no filter.

Then again, it's almost better to shoot overcast, as lighting conditions are less harsh than in direct sunlight, IMO.
