Looking to attend for 2022 event.

I am particularly interested in the Parade Laps option and any link up with a Porsche club at the circuit.

Has anyone here any experience with the best way to obtain access to the parade laps. Ideally without having to link into a bigger travel/accommodation package.

PCGB have said they have no involvement with the event.

Thanks.

There did used to be an option in the Porsche Clubs France website. A good person to ask in the GB Club is Nick Pike who posts on here and can be reached at r20@porscheclubgb.com, I’m sure he’s done it.

Some of them looked pretty cool, especially when No. 23 917 joined in.

Speak to Christophe Perrier who is the Secretary General of the federation of french Porsche clubs. They can sort you with track laps and parking and you won’t need to buy a whole “package”

As others have said, get your tickets and parade laps through Porsche Club France. I've done it a couple of times. Really easy to do and very welcoming too but a couple of words of warning:

1). there used to be an option to collect the tickets from the circuit on the Thursday / Friday - don't do this if you can avoid it. It is chaotic and can take a while.

2). Leave plenty of time to get into the circuit for your parade laps. We did the first year, didn't the second year and got swept up in a mutinous mob of Porsche Club France members who blockaded the track entrance as they were told that they'd missed their parade lap slot. The French love a good blockade so it was quite comical but we never got out on to the circuit thanks to 2 hours it took to get in to the circuit grounds.

The driving on the parade laps can be quite hectic too so you need to have wits about you. Some French bloke spun his 3.2 on the left / right Dunlop bridge in the middle of a pack of cars and with another 100 bearing down on him, of which we were part. All good fun. Definitely worth doing.
