Hi, after a long time ( when I had actually forgot I sent it) I had a letter from Natwest saying I was due nearly 5k.
Sent the acceptance and waited the 28 days they stipulated and never saw anything so I phoned and was told there were delays due to covid and call in a few weeks.
Done this a couple of times now, the call handlers are fantastic but just there to field the public they know absolutely nothing they can't even contact the payments team, know the rough time of the delays or if its going to be another day or a year !
Anyone got any numbers that get you any real info or any times people have waited past the 28 days.
If I wanted to complain what choices have I got ?

FOS I'd imagine. I don't know if a time was set by which all payments had to be made.

The FCA will take a dim view of payments taking longer than 28 days after their offer letter and COVID should no longer be an excuse for delays, again FCA have stipulated that they expect firms to be up to date by now. As previously mentioned if Nat West aren’t resolving for you then refer your complaint to the FOS.

You need to complain to Natwest first - it doesn't sound like you've done this yet.
