I don’t especially like the Russians. Historically they’ve murdered lots of my family and stolen properties and land from us.

But he’s right about this.

When your a grown man and have the cash to pay for it: go for it. Turn yourself into whatever you want to be. A child is too young to pushed in any particular direction. Let them be themselves naturally and get clear in their heads their direction in life. It’s not for adults to lead them.

Not sure about castigated but people did point out that it's slightly odd to say you have respect for a man who's in charge of a country with an appalling track record on LGBT rights and which routinely poisons and kills political opponents and which sanctioned the use of chemical weapons on UK soil resulting in the death of a British citizen.

Those minor little character flaws to one side I'm sure he's definitely worth respecting.

Seriously what is wrong with actually agreeing with someone( it could be anyone not the Russian Premier) making a statement that something they believe is wrong with decisions made by a society/region/country?

Are we not allowed to have opinions any more?

Do we even live in a democracy with freedom of speech now?

I’m pretty sure the powers that be, won’t agree, and this thread will be killed in a matter of minutes too!
