As per title really, just wondering which grandstand is the best people know of at a European grand prix and why do you think so?

Obviously doing some research for future grand Prix visits.

Recently at Spa. Not a grandstand as such, but the Swiss style chalet at the top of Eau Rouge is great.

I was there for the ELMS.

Not a grandstand as such, but those massive yachts in Monte Carlo look pretty good

This one ,it's in someone's garden , overlooking start finish straight Imola .

Same circuit ,the stands at Tosa and Acque Minerale give a good , unhindered by fences view .

Its a left field choice but if you want to see the most of a car (not so much racing) Hungaroring Silver 5 is a good shout, Its also the cheapest grandstand on the whole calendar I believe. Think 2019 was £130 for the full weekend.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQl3MSxYd2k

The video above is from the right side of silver 5, If you sit high up on the left of silver 5 (non-assigned seating) you can see past that tree on the inside of T11, So you can see cars exit turn 9 and through 10, Behind the trees then exit 11 and brake in 12 (amazing how late the braking is into that corner), then you can see them up through the 2 hairpins onto the main straight. There is also a large screen directly infront of the stand.

Unfortunately in true F1 fashion there are alot of advertising boards which feel like they have been placed intentionally to restrict viewing for fans rather than be shown on tv.

Not a grandstand but the entry to Pouhon corner at Spa is a cracking place to watch the racing.

I try and get there early and sit at the top of the banking

I think it was stand '8' at Spa. At the end of the start finish straight, looking down the straight. You see the cars entering the straight from the chicane, along the start finish straight, and also as the go down towards Eau Rouge, through Eau Rouge, and then the beginning of the Kemmel straight.

And obviously the start, first corner and finish

You can also see them in the distance as they leave Pouhon and along to the next corner (although a good pair of binoculars is required if you want to figure out 'whos who'!

I like being the general admission bleachers at Monza.

The view is rubbish but the atmosphere is amazing and the locals very friendly, it's about €80 for the day. Then watch the race on TV later.

Bronze at Hungaroring is good, it’s cheap, close to the track and had a big creek opposite
