Hi,

I received a PCN for parking in a residents bay even though I had a valid permit through RingGo.

I appealed the PCN within time but the council have not responded to say whether they accept my appeal or not.

I had a look online but I can’t see a time limit for them to reply to my appeal?

Thanks
Dom

I stand to be corrected but I thought RingGo was for private (or Council) car parks, not for resident bays. For the latter don't you need a permit?

Cannot answer your query about time frame but in my London borough you cannot buy residents' parking permits through Ringo. You have to buy directly from the Council and the paper permit must be displayed. Resident's permits are valid for the area but "visitors" must only park in designated bays.

It may be that your Authority operates differently?

A quick google would confirm this.
