Can anyone give any recommendations of someone to talk to with regards servicing, and all round maintenance to the likes of F40's, F50's etc?

I would suggest

www.italiaautosport.co.uk/

The mechanics team is headed by ex F50 & F50 championship racing driver John Pogson.

Reasonable £££ too.

Agree strongly with BadApple - Bob Houghton. I only met him once long ago when he was the Technical Director / Chief Mechanic of Greypaul. He kindly showed me around a P3 engine he was rebuilding at the time - Seriously impressive. Also remember one of his boxer engines finishing the Le Mans 24 hours (in 8th place I believe)

Yes, I have heard good things about this company and heard many people recommend them. They also have some awesome cars in their care! Last time I passed by there were matching Red F40s and Yellow Diablos sat inside waiting to be collected!

hiya - you dont mention where you are in the country - There's a place in manchester - R&D Automotive. Nick and Nigel run the place and provide excellent service! I've not heard a bad word about them.

Had a look around the workshop at Bob Houghton once. They look after some serious stuff (I think they do some maintenance on a certain drummer's collection) including ex F1 cars. Nice part of the country too.

Agree with the Bob Houghton idea. They look after or have looked after everything from Nick Mason's 250 GTO to numerous F40, F50s too and yes, Schuey's 1999 F1 car now in private hands. Seen an Enzo around. Assume most of the folk from MHT stayed with Bob when MHT was sold to Dick Loves-it, but Bob the engine builder's there of course. You'd be unlucky not to find their Northleach premises full of road and racing exotica.

One more for Verdi's, he used to have an F40 and I think he's still got the Bugatti.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my toy.
