How many people are going to use their Aston over winter?

Normally take out for a good run every 2 to 3 weeks (100+ miles) does depend on the weather as like to have the roof down.
Christmas day drive to the coast and back.
Too many things can go wrong with lack of use such as damper seals failing, engine gaskets drying out, tyres getting flat spots etc.

The only thing I avoid is salty roads and ice, otherwise I'll keep using it. I do have a cover and trickle charger and for the past couple of years it's been sat in the garage for maybe a month in Jan/feb when the weather is at its worst, however I try to use it as much as I can as sitting for months on end isn't very good for cars.
The most annoying thing in winter is when you go out for a drive when it's fairly dry and mild, then meet a gritter and can hear all the grit being chucked up the sides of the car as you drive over it. Very cringey and has happened a few times!

Certainly round here (southern Hampshire) they love to chuck grit everywhere if it goes anything below 10 degrees C, or so it seems. Tesco are even worse; they love spreading grit all over their car parks, sometimes even when it's raining.To answer the OP's question; no. The Aston is SORN'd now and will sit quietly in a cool, dry garage until the spring rains have washed the piles of grit away.
Similar to some above, I don't SORN my car and try to use it every couple of weeks, even if it's only a 20-mile round trip shopping on a Saturday. I don't use it when there's obvious salt on the roads or active gritting and try to wait until any salt has washed away. I obviously won't use it on ice and snow as I don't fit winter tyres and I'm just not that good.
After I've been out on a winter run I'll wipe my finger lightly along the rear bumper then taste it - if it tastes salty then I'll run a garden sprinkler on a hose under the car a few times before I garage it to try to rinse the underside off.

Erm… never tasted any of my cars. Would the Renault taste the best, bring French?Anyways, as others said above, cars never improve sitting still. My only concern are the P-Zero’s under 4°C (or even higher). But it needs 20 miles on the clock every 2 weeks if possible. Never had to use the battery conditioner yet.
Mine don't get SORN'd so are available year round. If the conditions are right I'll take them out. When the DB4 was my daily driver years ago it lived outside and was driven in snow etc so after 4 years of this I got a chassis repair bill for more than I paid for the car! I've only driven the other car in the rain once in 25 years, last year for the (deferred) MOT, and got water in the fuel tanks so in short it now has a new fuel system from back to front
