Best of luck mate. If you can do the first three days, the rest is all in your mind (so they say). One of the best things I ever did was stop smoking.

Good for you!
I'm sure it's not easy, but I'm also sure that it'll be well worth it!

Good luck and don't give in to the dirty little critters!

Been 19 months for me. I didn't have one more after I decided to quit. Good luck.

Good on yer I gave up a year and a half ago after having a bad night of the snuffles and coughing my lungs up, I thought to myself 'this is stupid' and just stopped. Who needs all these aids just find something to do and stop those boring thumb twiddling moments that cause you to light up.

I won't be easy but keep at it.

I gave up many years ago and didn't have a single ciggy for well over 6 years. Now I have the occassional one when I am out on the beer. I seem to enjoy it, but wouldn't want to take it up a full time hobby again.

Good luck. It's all in the mind. There is no such thing as nicotine addiction

I just bought the allen carr book with the 2 cd's.
Trouble is i am not a great reader as there is allways something else to do. SOO.... i put on the cd and what does i say? " do not listen to this cd untill you have read the book!"
I'll get there
just hope i don't get cancer first.
What is it about smoking???, i know it will kill me, i know it stinks, i know all the bad things but...Grrr, my brain waves have been intercepted. the thought of giving up sends neurons crashing through my brain.
It's .....erm, illogical!

Well done mate and good luck. Take each hour at a time firstly and by the end of day two you'll be well on your way.

Not touched one for 15 months now. I went to an Allen Carr meeting which was brilliant.

All the best and STICK WITH IT however hard it gets. If you give in, you go back to square one and have to deal with the cravings all over again. It will be the hardest - but best - thing you ever do.

I'm just a newbie having quit 3 months ago! Its difficult at first but gets easier once you get through the usual activities where you would normally smoke (ie after a meal, whilst you're drinking etc). Good luck and stick with it! Think how proud of you Bruciebabie will be!

Best of luck. Stick at it. I wish I had the bottle to do the same. I'm hoping I will soon, as I'm getting more "really must stop this" by the day

You'll get fat... Diet or give up smoking, but never both at the same time!
