V12S Vantage hanging clamp question

Over the weekend, when driving very slowly over a gentle hump, I heard a light grinding noise mid-chassis when over the highest point. It was not a terrible noise and only lasted a fraction of a second, but I was curious as previous V8 Vantages didn't have a problem at the same point.

This morning, I looked under the car and see this hanging clamp mid-point. I am 99% certain it's for the exhaust system:



When taking a photo "flat" across the underbody, you can see it protrudes down a fraction of a centimetre or so (left of photo being front of car):



Anybody else have this sticking out on their VH Vantage?

It's a 2018 V12 Vantage AMR (ie. V12S without secondary cats).

Thankfully, there's zero visible damage, and it all looks very clean underside.

When removing the secondary cats on the Vanquish I noticed the same clamp as in your picture its the only way it can be installed.

It's at least 100mm above the ground so should not hit any speed bumps as they all should be 100mm max in height (but some are not).

Thanks for that! I had the V8's secondary cats removed by AM, but the V8 exhaust system may have been different. Or I went faster of the hump in the road, so didn't notice

It's funny but I noticed the same sort of thing under my DB9, and was wondering whether to try tapping it back up...
