E70 X5 Centre Console

I recently got a 2012 E70 X5, one of the problems with it is that the centre console around the gear lever is not in very good condition, the plastic seems to have bubbled as per the below picture. How easy is this to fix?

It's actually pretty easy to change - you just need some trim removal tools to pop it out, then disconnect the iDrive controller.
