This App just won't open!??

My heating system works on the Wunda system, which has the Wunda Smart app https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/wunda-smart/id116858...

I have an iphone 12, I have fully updated it, I have deleted the app and reinstalled many many times, but still when I tap on it, it tried to load for a split second then just goes back to my home screen.

This thing runs my entire heating for my house so it's rather essential!

Any ideas what I should do? I even deleted it from the iPhone backup hoping the phone would forget it ever existed and start again, but when I go back to the appstore it still has the little download from the cloud symbol instead of "get" which happens with a new app.

There will be a bug in the app causing it to crash on launch - nothing you can do apart from contact the developer and tell them they fked up.

Would that just affect my phone? It still works fine on my wife's

Do you both have the same phone? Exact model running the same version of iOS?

Nope, she's got a much older iphone.
I have been in touch with Wunda, they think it might be to do with me having updated to the very latest iOS, they're looking into it. Annoying, why can't tech just work and stay working.

I'm on Android but I've had apps that open into a browser and the browser is specific,ie it usually has to be chrome and if you use an unspecified browser the app won't launch.
Also I've had them when they require a certain permission which hasn't been granted on installation

You're just going to have to live with her putting the thermostat up to 35 degrees to heat the house up quicker

Indeed, my clever plan to hide the heating and lighting within apps is falling apart now that mine won't work! haha

Is there a web browser version of the App you can use on your phone in the meantime?
