Rolls Royce special 27 litre
Discussion
Some pics of my v12 1932 Rolls Royce special I’m slowly putting together doing it all my self so takes a bit of time just been chipping away, have had some mates fab up parts I didn’t have the machinery to do myself. Finding period correct bits that look good was difficult while covid lockdown was on in Australia, did do a bit of a write up earlier on under the same heading and pics of how the Rolls started so here’s where I’m up to so far.....dodgey1
32 rolls chassis and original diff 1.82 ratio tyres are 36 inch tall, gearbox is full manual 727 dodge bullet proof I build them for my drag cars never had any trouble spoke wheels original rolls shouldn’t have any trouble will be driving to suit, pipes will be staying like they are.....
Many years ago a bloke called John Dodd had a 27 litre RR engined car.
It was supposed to be Merlin engine but wasn't, it was a detuned version. Based on a coach chassis, it was more for show than go. And prone to catching fire.
