Still looking good!

Hi Gary, Tim & Jon,
Gary, sounds like a good choice of colour, you must post some photos when you have your car back, can I ask who is spraying it for you ….anyone local?
That weekend we all met up and blasted through the tunnel doesn’t seem all that long ago does it. I miss the S to be honest and I may have to plan ahead and see how and when I can afford to get another but perhaps a V8S, probably go for one needing tidying up like I did with the V6 and then give it some TLC/resto!
Tim, to answer your question from the other week. My job has been confirmed as safe now and it looks like I’ll be even busier due to structural changes. Things have already got a lot more intense; I’m posting this on my laptop from a hotel room in Connecticut! Wireless LAN is fantastic, so much better than the dial up at home
Jon, many thanks for the compliment. The interior is pretty much standard for an S2 except I used aluminium paint on the steering wheel which worked out really well and I fitted new aluminium gear knob and handbrake lever and a new set of carpets and fed the leather seats and cleaned the door panels and fitted a new clock.
Well, it’s nice and sunny here and about 85 degrees but I’ve been stuck inside a conference room so I’m going to head off out for dinner

That's what I did.
Yes, I thought of you Mike when the dealer who bought it from me told me about the new owner.
How are you getting on with your new ride?
Getting along famously.
So far.....New screen in,
Mirrors fixed and attached, new glass in as well,
Bonnet hinges fabricated, attached, and bonnet re-aligned.
Front half of chassis stripped to bare metal, arse end today (if I have any fingers left)Then I shall give it a few coats of red oxide, then waxoyl it for good measure....not too bad for a few weeks, I am glad I had a prod around underneath, it's solid, but needed stripping back as it wouldn't have been long before Mr welder had to be called in.
I will post some pictures later as she is currently looking like a hovercraft up on axle stands.
