After 23 years refurbed the wheels (and some new tyres). Looking much happier!

I hope you did them yourself with a rattle can and didn't pay anyone to do it, because the finish is awful. The lacquer coat has gone very wrong.

Might be water residue marks. The badge has them too.

Is it not just the reflection of the gravel drive?

Nice and glossy - looks good OP! New tyres are always nice, too.

Could be the rain. They look excellent in real life. Maybe time for a photography course….

Absolutely correct, it's the gravel!

hehe
Good job then OP.
Still think those wheels look as good as any on the car.

Lepsons. Picked them up from my house and delivered them back a week later. Delivery was only £20 - I would have spent more on petrol getting to and from them. Great service - highly recommended.

Nice one REM - I have mine booked in at Lepsons for a refurb in a couple of weeks - going for a colour change to - a dark shadow chrome - just hoping it will look the business on the car which is Starmist Green. I was always a sucker for dark wheels on dark green sports cars.....

I asked Woody at TVR101 who I should get to straighten and refurb my spiders and he suggested Lepsoms.

Can I ask what you paid as I know from experience with my Lotus Exige Lepsoms are expensive (but did a spectacularly good job)

Including pick up and return, £343. I disposed of the tyres myself, cos I’m tight. I think they wanted a tenner.

If you are interested, this is what D&C did to the interior. I probably posted it a couple of years ago when it was done, so sorry if you’ve seen it before.

That seems very good value. 4 years ago they charged me £500 to respray 4 brand new alloys on my new Exige 380 before it was even registered, so no prep or repairs needed.

I’ll give Lepsoms a call thanks

Forgot to mention, that included a couple of FOC repairs too.
