Paisley Freight is the correct way to move stuff like this about in the UK. Just ensure it's packaged properly.

The shipping companies Paisley use vary but are often just majors like TNT. Their service isn't designed to treat any package like it's made of porcelain; they require things to be wrapped to a point where you can sling them around.

Bubble wrap on the face, cardboard on top, cocoon it in clingwrap, stick the label on. Job jobbed.
I used Paisley Freight last month. They simply outsourced it to a delivery company called APC.
£40 for 4 alloys.
Each had to be separately boxed. The limit of 30kg is per wheel as each wheel needs to be separately boxed.
They split the delivery into 2 deliveries (not sure why). The labelling and instructions are awful. I thought they would simply treat the parcels as two different deliveries internally not actually send two different delivery drivers to pick up 2 wheels each.
