981 and 982/718 Cayman Keys

Are they the same?

I am looking for a painted key cover - from the 'bay' and the drop down selector doesn't not include the 718 cayman as a compatible fit.

Therefore, I was wondering if they came with the updated key.

Easiest option would be to pay the Porsche tax...

Unless they've changed the ignition system on the very latest MY22 Cayman and Boxsters, which I highly doubt, they're the same for all the 981 and 718 series from 2014 to now.
