Yeah, it's a bit hard to follow on that MSN link:

The video embedded into the article is rather more illuminating. Funnily, the reporter at the end says that when the Police department was asked why the SWAT team needed to demolish the house the response was "they are not going to be able to make that happen today".

Only posisble I guess given how rubbish US houses often are, all timber and poorly constructed.
