Who has to pull the trigger
Discussion
I pulled the trigger on a machine gun in B&M once (Ok maybe all the machine guns and maybe more than once) to be rewarded with the sound effects of Saving Private Ryan. My partner and son scuttled off putting as much distance as possible between themselves and the holy mortification of it all.
A shop assistant walked into the isle and gave me a look (the look!!!).
Next I heard her say to her colleague in the next isle "those guns are doing my head in and it's always the bloody men".

I'm surprised you saw a toy gun on sale, I thought most places had stopped selling them as they "promote toxic masculinity / white supremacy / global warming / higher petrol prices" etc.
It's a myth. They are everywhere.
Nerf guns are the best. U even can get belt fed battery operated heavy machine guns.
Today's children have access guns I as a child armed with two plastic cowboy cap guns and an Airfix Tommy Gun could only dream of.
It used be a thing of much joy down the hallowed shelving of toys r us. Pull as many triggers as you can whilst wifey scuttles away in embarrassment.
I remember a toy shotgun that made a hell of a noise.
Must admit I’m surprised they still sell toy guns now although it never did me any harm.

My preferred choice when dragged around kitchen shops by my wife is to set all the kitchen timers to go off once I've left the shop. The kicker is to stagger the timers, so that they go off over a 10 minute period.

h though, I once got into a lift as a family were leaving and noticed that their ~10 year old boy was smiling and looking back at me, I then realised that he'd pressed ALL the buttons on the lift so that we'd stop at every floor up to our room on the 9th floor. I slow hand clapped him as the door closed. Respect was due

I did this at Ikea once. A massive display basket full to the brim with analogue kitchen timers. I spent a lot longer than I realised setting them all to go off in 15 minutes. As I'd spent about 5 minutes setting the timers about 10 minutes later a faint ringing could be heard down the corridor, slowly building to a crescendo which I was very proud of, especially as many heads were turned and staff were looking fairly miffed.
I was quite impressed. Girlfriend less so.

Setting the timers, pressing the sound activation buttons, re-arranging the mugs, water bottles, herbs and spices, anything personalised with a letter to spell something rude/insult… Sometimes I’ll sneak ahead then hold back until whoever I’m with comes browsing past to cast gaze on my message.
Also slowly pull away when a passenger is getting in vehicle. I’m known for this but they fall for it every time.
Oh and I still put stickers on peoples backs. If only to amuse myself.

I went into Hayes gun shop back in the mid 70's. They sold air rifles, shotguns and starter pistols. Dad bought me a starter pistol for my birthday present.. I was ten
The lady that owned the shop was great fun, she went to the back of the shop and came out with two cowboy hats and brought a selection of starting/blanc firing hand guns. We loaded loads of rounds and were firing them with barrels pointed towards a blank wall - gun etiquette is important you know
This would never happen now, you'd have the firearms cops busting down the door and tazering everyone
I walked out with a six shooter and a box of 100 blanks.. happiest kid on the block
Mum wasn't best pleased for the next week though

Was in the kitchen/home section of John Lewis years ago, as my wife was browsing ‘kitchen stuff’. I came across a massive shelf of kitchen timers. All shaped like lemons or oranges, and you twisted the top half to set the time. Quickly twisted as many as I could, to 15 mins, and then causally wandered off again to join my wife.
They all started going off as we were just leaving that particular floor, and I couldn’t help but start laughing. So childish.

About 4 or 5 years ago I was at the supermarket in arnarge waiting for my mates to appear with their shopping. Out the front they had a load of e scooters all lined up for display purposes. I was looking at it and pushed the throttle as I knew it would be turned off, came back a minute later and did it again and the bloody thing shot off across the entrance. To make matters worse it was on a long chain which the local house wives all started to trip up and cause a lot of oh la la
