A quick battery conditioner question

I intend to use it with the DB9 if necessary (it has a 12V cigar plug), and there's a handy socket in the boot for the purpose. Is there any good reason to bin it and get a 'proper Aston' one like https://www.cccharger.co.uk/product-page/smart-cha... ?

No, no reason to change.

I use a Ctek, used it previously on my Caterham, again using a permanent 12v power socket and now on my V8 Vantage.

I use it on the daily drivers too whenever they need a charge.

That was my basic thought too, then I just wondered if the Aston had some sort of special electronics that might make a difference. I wasn't expecting to find a socket all ready for it, that was a bonus. The TVR used the cigar lighter socket and the XK needed croc clips which was a PITA.

One in the front grille would be perfect!

Nothing wrong with the charger you have, though if it gives up I can highly recommend the CC Charger one.
