Registration Number Query

Hi all,
My daughter's car was reversed into by a driver that then failed to stop. A neighbour has CCTV and caught the incident on camera but I'd like to try to speed up the process by trying to ID the registration plate and what car it is?
Looks pretty distinctive. I've tried zooming in to the reg but can't see it. Think the neighbours whose CCTV it is have gone out so trying to do some detective work.
ETA - daughter is speaking with people whose house the driver came from.

That’s definitely a recent Ford Ranger crew cab.
It’s also some awful inconsiderate parking on the part of your daughter opposite a parking area. The CCTV would suggest she arrived after the Ranger because otherwise it would surely have been parked further down. There is no way that Ranger would have got out that parking space if there had been a car parked on either side of it.
This is a classic example of why insurers increase premiums after a non-fault accident.

I'm not sure when she got there to be honest. Initial Dave - that's what she is going to do.
My wife’s car was reversed into twice over the years by people coming out of their drives.
Her job used to entail stopping for a few minutes at a large number of houses in estates and inevitably some of those stops were opposite peoples driveways.
I don’t know if they were too busy checking each way to remember about checking directly behind or they just assumed nobody would be there.
It looks like the Ford driver has done the same, checked either side but not immediately behind.

Given that no one can enhance the pictures to a higher level of quality to ID the numberplate, there's little point in leaving the photos up. I didn't see the original image but having recently seen the results of an enhanced low-res video being upscaled, I can tell you that kind of thing is most definitely possible.
