Looking at AirPod Pros. Apple seem to be £239, John Lewis £199. Both are with a MagSafe charging case. I can’t find the model number on the John Lewis site but they seem to be the same.
What is the difference between the MagSafe case and the normal case??

Many thanks

They changed to a Magsafe case last month. Not a big difference, just means that if you have a magsafe charger it'll align on it nicely. The older non-Magsafe case will charge fine on a Magsafe charger, you have to put it in the right spot. The new Magsafe case will charge fine on any Qi charger (as the old one does), but again you have to put it in the right spot to charge.

If you're buying new, worth checking you're getting the latest thing, or that you're getting a discount for the older one.

Thanks,
Both my links appear to be the same latest model so John Lewis it is then!

This may be a stupid question but can these also be charged by a cable? I'm thinking they maybe a suitable gift for her indoors but I know nothing about Apple products

Yep, lightning port on the bottom just like an iPhone.

Thank you for confirming. That's saved me from trawling YouTube videos hoping to find the answer.
