I’m with virgin mobile at the moment, having to change to some other network soon , hardly use my phone so on pay as you go, what’s the best deal for me ?

Have a look at smarty, sim only deals.
It is a rolling contract so your only tied in for a month.

What network is good near you?
Smarty are very cheap but on the 3 network which isn't good for my home location.
I'm on Giffgaff which uses O2, the missus uses EE so at least one of us gets a signal (we're out in the sticks).
I do like the way Giffgaff text you before the monthly renewal if its computers think you'd be better off on a cheaper package. I pay £9 a month for 15Gb of data but if you're a light user there is plenty of choice for less.
