BHA4900 Oil/water gauge option - details inside

Hello,

Not sure how interesting this is, but it's important to share information on here imo.

Smiths Oil & Water Gauge (MGB, Midget & Austin Healey Sprite) BHA4900 - £87.50 and delivered in 3 days (ebay)

This gauge will fit and work, as it is the same as the original Cerbera gauge, apart from the face, bezel and hands - which I have carefully swapped over.

One caveat is that it has a 6ft capillary, which was shorter than my original, but acceptable, and fitted elegantly enough, a little tighter than some may like perhaps.

Just the start of winter, so people stop using the cars. Give it until new year and everyone starts working on them in their garage instead

Is Facebook a thing for TVRs? I could borrow my Mrs account and have a look I guess.

I am doing a rolling restoration (ish), after some time of the road, so at the moment I'm Cerbera obsessed.

Yes, groups on Facebook for all sections of TVR owners. Not a great platform for it in my opinion..........

The tvr groups on Facebook are alot more active then here. It's easier to upload photos. Less silly posting rules that PH have.

You can actually see who your talking to.

Unfortunately internet forums days are coming to an end.

I know people fear the whole social media but it's been around a long time now and it's not as bad as people think.

You could open an account and just use it for tvr stuff.
