It was timing and the obvious linking to his 'alleged' incident that was probably glossed over at the time of the accusation. Will his fathers indiscretion be used to bring his incident into the spotlight as another allegation of sleaze in the Tories?

She's an openly Anti-tory journalist /labour activist that has previously run several Labour party events. So far, there's been zero proof of the event, just allegations.

As I understand it Caroline Noakes was on a panel of women as part of a Sky News program about violence against women and was recounting her own experiences.

I think the program was filmed recently and only aired yesterday so it doesn't leap out as one that's been sat on and kept "in reserve" by the media.
