Suspension part

Today I changed the door gas struts and while the wheel arch liner were oil i was having a mooch around and spotted whet looks like a suspension levelling sensor, phot attached. Does anybody know what this is and what its for. Also in the passenger side wheel well there is a plastic bottle with a drain and a pipe attached to the coolant tank. I presume that this is some kind of overflow tank but have never come across one before

Don’t laugh, but I think it might be the Headlamp levelling sensor ?

I'm going to guess it's the sensor for the levelling system for the HID headlights. Legal requirement in EU

The sensor is for headlight levelling, one on the front and one on the rear suspension.

The tank is called a Coolant Recovery tank

Thanks everybody. I’ve been messing around behind the seats today around the battery compartment etc and found another couple of things. Any ideas what these are for. Cables for both appear to go towards the boot area

That doesn’t look like anything Aston would install. If it heads towards the back, some sort of exhaust valve override?

I agree, a switch in line with fuse 22, has the same effect as removing fuse 22, opens the exhaust valves all the time to make the car louder

Fuse 22 was out when i bought it so i put one in. Ill try the switch in the morning
Any ideas what this is as well, its above ans left of the battery be hi how the ear side panel

That switch is a universal on/off switch and identical to the one used for my front parking sensors.

Thanks for all your input. It is indeed the iSimple iPhone to fm module. The switch is to turn it on or off. I contacted iSimple who kindly sent me the instructions in a pdf. I’ve found the lightening connector and it works really well. Now looking forward to not burning and using CD’s
