Tyre inflator x7
Discussion
I have a Michelin 12V one with a 2017 BMW and no issues - the cigarette lighter is under the radio console if I remember correctly but took me ages to find it.
My issue was that after using it and then doing a few 2 mile trips here and there, tell tale signs of a weak car battery showed up - auto boot open wouldn’t rise up, hand brake wouldn’t click properly etc. So had to take for a drive at speed to recharge.
The only alternative is a 3-pin plug variant I guess which isn’t very mobile but then apparently vast majority (like 90%) of flats are identified on the driveway.

I have one of these in the 928. Battery powered and charges from a USB

I had a Ring 12v one that wasn't cheap (about £30 IIRC) but it was sodding useless, the first one broke the second one works but the auto cut off stuff doesn't work anymore. I barely used it. I now use one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B085M2C6CP/ref... which is absolutely brilliant if you already have any Makita kit.

Like you had a couple of Ring ones that became useless quickly; bought a Michelin one that the threads stripped inside the connector, again turned to be uselessBought this and have zero issues with it and it works faultlessly:

I can't see why the X7 would have non-uniform 12v sockets; they're universal.
But sometimes the socket does need to be pressed right in; or its faulty
