I quite like her on LBC and wondered why she was trending on Twitter.

So in the week when her brother has tried to gloss over corruption and her father has been accused by a Conservative MP of groping her what better way to round off the week than to write a piece saying you feel pity for someone in jail on charges related to the sexual abuse of minors yikes

Feeling pity towards someone because of their actions or their plight or your interactions with them .. who knows ?

A headline means nothing really and the word “pity” can be taken in many ways

To be fair, for someone who has yet to be found guilty of anything her conditions sound absolutely appalling.

A 'batsqueak of pity' sounds like a fairly small amount. I can't see anything wrong/offensive about that.. And it's only a paragraph, not a full blown article about Maxwell anyway, but presumably some of the usual ' I haven't read it but I am offended' brigade are at it again.

This isn't just any post, it is a bhstewie post. Context free and with a hint of salacious delight.

biggrin

(And to give the inevitable whining more bite, I'd reintroduce the death penalty for convicted paedos if I were King).

Quite an interesting quote from her here, after she reveals she went to one of Maxwell's parties.
Not exactly cryptic.

I’m sure fairweather friends would not reveal they went to a Ghislaine Maxwell party: as Barbara Amiel’s brilliant memoir Friends and Enemies proves, you only know who your real chums are when you’re in the gutter.

Indeed, and as yet she is an innocent person on remand

In the U.K. and most civilised countries that is taken into account and remand prisoners are held under different ( less harsh ) conditions

found a shiny glamazon with naughty eyes holding court astride a table, a high-heeled boot resting on my brother Boris’s thigh.
That's not salacious; it's nauseating.

I wonder if she'll write any more Spectator articles about how she still pities poor unfortunate convicted sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
